Taylor Hudson

Taylor is a co-founder of Synergy Commodity.  He is a veteran of the distillate industry, a passionate advocate for entrepreneurs, and a very proud graduate of Virginia Tech (Go Hokies!) 

Taylor loves nothing better than spreading best practices about buying and hedging, and working with growing businesses to determine how they can get an edge. Taylor is our chief brain on supply strategy, a prominent industry speaker, and always thinking about adding value for our clients.


Aviral Chopra

Avi is a co-founder of Synergy Commodity.  He is our expert in liquid fuels, trading, markets, and asset utilization. 

Widely read and endlessly curious, Avi encourages our clients to think about doing things differently, with the goal of enhancing profitability. Avi knows every Synergy process and is the swiss-army knife of our organization. He supervises our day-to-day procurement and leads procurement project work.  When not manning the desk, you might find Avi meditating… ask him!


Arthur Ravo

Art ran procurement and hedging at Paraco Gas Corp., a major propane retailer on the east coast, for over 32 years. He came on board with Synergy in 2022. 

Art is skilled at all the ins and outs of reducing costs year-round, in a variety of market conditions. Art runs our day-to-day propane buying operations and leads procurement project work. He is laser-focused on making the right procurement decisions and setting up processes to support continued success. When new clients see what Art can do, the rave reviews start coming in.


Dan Singer

Dave brings over three decades of deep-rooted experience in the wholesale petroleum industry to the Synergy team. A recognized pioneer in digital market transformation and a proud University of Colorado Boulder alumnus, Dave has spent his career navigating the complexities of the U.S. energy markets from the Gulf Coast to the Northeast.

He is at his best when helping clients turn market volatility into a strategic asset by bridging the gap between supply-side trading and real-world sales.

Dave is our resident expert on wholesale marketing strategy, focused on applying his hard-earned knowledge to bridge the gap between supply and sales. He takes pride in delivering "win-win" results for our clients, driving long-term profitability and sustainable growth.

Dave’s personal interests include classic car collecting, fishing, and pocket billiards.

Dan brings over 30 years of executive experience in liquid fuels and full-service HVAC to Synergy, as well as representation on the Empire State Energy Association (ESEA) executive committee and the National Oil Research Alliance (NORA) board of directors.


As its CEO and President, Dan oversaw all operations and led the successful sale process of his family’s company, Robison Oil of Westchester County NY, in 2024. Founded in 1921, Robison had grown to be the area’s largest fuel oil and premier full-service HVAC and home services company.

Dan enjoys spending time with his family at their home on the Jersey shore and meeting other business owners. His wide range of knowledge on many topics in addition to liquid fuels procurement is a great benefit to Synergy’s clients.
